We confirm that RISE Racing has recently been impacted by a cyber incident.

Our immediate investigation has confirmed that certain data files from 2017 to 2022 were accessed during this breach.  Unfortunately, some of these files included participant details.  All impacted participants have been notified in line with our obligations.

Our response is significant and ongoing, and we are working with law enforcement agencies, and external cybersecurity and privacy experts, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We have worked closely with external cybersecurity and forensic experts to quickly contain the incident and investigate what has happened.  Full operational access was reinstated shortly after.

Our participants, and team privacy is of highest importance to us and we are communicating with them on how we are managing the current situation and what they can do to be vigilant.

You can contact us at cybersecurity@riseracing.com or on 1300 556 649 with any questions or concerns, and our team will be ready to assist them.

We appreciate their patience and understanding during this time.

We have included some advice on steps you can take to protect your information:
