The 2026 Ladbrokes Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale is set to feature progeny of an impressive lineup of racemares, including six Group 1 winners, among which are two QBred Triad champions.

Forty-five of the 68 lots catalogued are out of race-winning mares – a 66 percent ratio.

The offering includes sons or daughters of the QBred Triad winners Jasper and Cat King Cole, the NSW Breeders Challenge victor New York Fashion, the triple Vicbred champion Spidergirl, the 2YO and 3YO Trotting Filly of the Year My Arya, Vista Bella (Vic. Youthful and Bathurst Gold Bracelet), Vena May (Vic. Argent Classic), Zara’s Delight (Redcliffe Oaks), Chevron’s Reward (Queen Of The Creek), Tanamay (Tas. Blue Bonnet) and the $100,000 earners Reaza Grunter and Saint Kilda Beach.

Almost 60 percent of the catalogue are from winner-producing mares including six Group 1 winners and two QBred Triad champions.

The dams have left a cavalcade of stars including the four-time Group 1 winner Expensive Ego ($992,307), The Hayden winner and Inter Dominion Final runner-up Speak The Truth, the NSW Breeders Challenge victor Tin Tin Jo, Tardelli (Bathurst Gold Crown), the QBred Triad winners Talent To Spare and Art’s Treasure, the APG Gold Bullion winners Chicago Bart and More Sass, Corporal Luna (Seymour Nursery), the dual Vicbred trotting champion Always Ready and Ajay Volstead (The Stellar Square).

The sale will be conducted by Nutrien Equine and hosted by the Albion Park Harness Racing Club at Albion Park on Sunday, February 22.
