The 2026 ANZGOG WomenCan Team Teal campaign has officially drawn to a close at Club Menangle with a total of $3200 raised in support of the fight against gynaecological cancer.

At least 19 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer in Australia every day, with diagnoses expected to surge by 21 per cent over the next 10 years.

From 1 February to 15 March, Club Menangle donated for each success recorded on track by our female trainers and drivers. For every winner driven by a female driver in the ‘teal’ pants and for every win trained by a female trainer, $200 was donated.

Across our 12 race meetings held in the six-week period, a total of 16 ‘teal’ wins were recorded.

Club Menangle Chief Executive Officer Bruce Christison said: “Another incredible result has been achieved for the ANZGOG WomenCan Team Teal campaign right across Australia and New Zealand.

"Club Menangle is proud to have contributed $3200 to Team Teal through wins by our female participants on our track.

Thank you to all trainers and drivers who supported the Team Teal campaign and contributed to the success in 2026.”

NSW Team Teal Ambassador Ashleigh Delosa recorded the most Teal wins at Club Menangle throughout the campaign, with five in total including Watts Up Partytime in the ProN8ure Probiotic Tough Monarch Trotters FFA.

Trainers Chantal Turpin and Marg Lee also contributed to Team Teal at Club Menangle across the TAB Carnival of Miracles. Chantal enjoyed success with The Janitor NZ, taking out the BioWorma Sprint. Keayang Zahara trained in partnership by Marg Lee and her son Paddy Lee, then starred on Night Two, winning the Group 1 Yabby Dam Farms Hammerhead Trotters Mile.

At the Garrards Miracle Mile, Team Teal was showcased with a special presentation that included co-founder Duncan McPherson OAM and female drivers Taylah Osmond, Zara Fitzpatrick and Ashleigh Delosa.
