Captain Ahab USA
HRA stallion registrations for the 24/25 breeding season recently opened and Western Australian based stallion Captain Ahab USA is the first to register for the new season.
Captain Ahab is owned by David and Kellie Simmonds who founded Westbred Pacing in 2021.
The son of the siring sensation Captaintreacherous (US), Captain Ahab twice defeated the 2018 2yo of the Year Captain Crunch. His fastest recorded race time was 1:49.1 and paced seven winning miles ranging from 1.50.4 to 1.52.3.
Captain Ahab’s pedigree represents a cross of very successful pacing bloodlines, being a member of the dominant Direct Scooter male line from a sister to the US 2YO Colt of the Year and sire Artspeak.
He is standing at Murray Veterinary Services in West Coolup WA for $3,000 including GST.
