Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) yesterday
announced that it had received official notification from Racing Analytical
Services Ltd (RASL) concerning the confirmatory analysis on the remaining six
irregularities detected in swab samples reanalysed for propantheline.

Testing of reserve samples has
detected six positive swabs to the prohibited substance propantheline, four in
horses trained by Mr Clayton Tonkin and two in horses trained by Mr Martin
Herbert.

Mr Tonkin?s positives were
detected in the following post-race urine swab samples taken after the win of
each respective runner;

- Mystic Vale ? Maryborough, 6 February 2004
- Monaco Prince ? Bendigo, 16 February 2004
- Soros ? Cranbourne, 23 February 2004
- Mystic Vale ? Terang, 21 April 2004

Mr Tonkin has been asked to
attend an inquiry at HRV, 740 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds at 10.30am on
Wednesday, 28 July.

Mr Herbert?s positives were
detected in the following post-race urine swab samples taken after the win of
each respective runner;

- Antigua Bay ? Cranbourne, 7 February 2004
- Bally Hooley ? Maryborough, 5 May 2004

Mr Herbert has been asked to
attend an inquiry at HRV at 2.30pm on 28 July.

Stewards have also asked Mr Greg
Cramp and Mr Shayne Cramp to attend an inquiry at HRV at 1pm on Friday, 30
July, concerning evidence tendered by the two parties during HRV?s
propantheline investigation.
