Also to be decided on Saturday night will be the Trainers Award, which has been generously sponsored by Hopkins Saddlery. David Hopkins has donated a Sprintwell Sub-2 Racing Sulky to be won by the leading point scorer over the trotter’s carnival. This is a new product available from Hopkins Saddlery and is valued at $2,800.
Points are accumulated over all fifteen trotters races run over the carnival and with five races to be run on Saturday night, there are still a few with winning chances. Points awarded are for 1st – 10, 2nd – 7, 3rd – 5, 4th – 3, 5th – 2 and all other starters 1 point.
