Red Ochre Stallion Tender

The Dubbo Club has re-introduction of one of its feature races for the Season 2003-2004, The Red Ochre. This race is for mares only, with the winner adding value for her stud career.

The majority of the prizemoney for this race is raised via a Stallion Tender. The club is very grateful to the stud owners who have donated stallion services to enable us to make this event possible. Publicly acknowledging all of them - for without their support this event could not go ahead.

The stallion services have been put up for tender in the Trading Ring on this Website. To make a bid you simply go into the "Stallion/AI Services available" section of the Trading Ring on this Website and select your stallion, place a bid for his service. 

"There has already been great interest in this on-line auction and it is expected to get even more exciting as we head towards the auction close" organiser Brett Wrigley said from Dubbo. 

The tender closes this Friday at 5 PM sharp. 

If you intend to bid you should be aware that (because bids are approved by the Moderators before they can be seen on-line) you may not be seeing the very latest bid if you look at the Trading Ring bids - so you could miss out if your bid is not higher than a bid in an unapproved message. It might be worth bidding a little bit extra to cover this possibility.
