Race 1:

 

OVERVIEW: WAIKARE ADRIENNA (11) both race starts for the Julie Douglas stable have been full of merit and was overpowered last start when runner up. Going well and looks suited and can fight out the finish again. STRAIGHT TO THETOP (7) is a very capable mare that will strip much fitter for her first up performance. Good effort behind stronger opposition last start, trained on the track and expect a big showing. NIGHT SKY (5) speedy mare that gave a great sight two starts ago under similar conditions and should be in this for a long way. I AM HARRO (9) joins the inform astute Stephen Boyington stable and has shown ability. Expect a big showing fresh, keep safe. Both SKY LINDY (8) and MADGE EGAN (1) will enjoy soft trips and have place and first four claims.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: BLACKJACK WHACKO (7) terrific run at his race debut and finished off powerfully when runner up. Resumes here, drawn wide but shows good promise and expect a big showing fresh. JACQUELYN JOY (11) resumes here and arrives from NSW. Does possess plenty of speed and despite the awkward draw looks a major threat.  IMA TIGGY TIGER (3) improving filly that despite being safely held last start at Mildura still ran very well from a second line draw. Better draw here and must be respected. COOKIE DOUGH (1) will find this much easier than her past two starts and her prior form was encouraging. Drawn well and gets every chance. HEZAFLASHONE (2) not far away last start and from a favourable draw is amongst the chances.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: GINGER ELLA (6) has competed very well throughout the Vicbred series and will find this a much easier assignment than recent starts and should prove hard to hold out. RIVEERA (5) is racing in great form and won well last start. Expect another forward showing. INSIDE LEG (4) has shown ability in the past and joins the talented Rebecca Bartley stable. Trained on the track and can run well fresh. SOHO PLAYGIRL (10) battled on well last start after doing her share of work and must be respected again. Both MAD PUNTA (9) and ANIMADO (7) have ability and are amongst the chances whilst KEAYANG SANTIAGO (2) and SPIRIT OF SAHARA (1) have early speed to race handy and receive every chance.

Race 4:

 

OVERVIEW: CHAMPAGNE WALSH (4) is having his second run for the Julie Douglas stable and will be improved further from his last start placing. Looks suited and should be fighting out the finish. KRAKEY (7) a winner two starts ago and has measured up well in this class prior to his latest unplaced run. Trained on the track and expect a forward showing. Both RANDOM MAHONEY (5) and WARRIORESS (3) are very honest pacers that are racing well and are rarely far away. Must be respected.  WITH IN REASON (9) a last start winner and has claims again whilst MY ULTIMATE LUIGI (10) JAPANESE MIKI (6) and MY MATE ACE (1) are place and first four chances.

Race 5:

 

OVERVIEW: ROCKIN GEMMA (3) should be at peak fitness after two runs back from a spell and is racing well and can take up a forward position. Expect a strong showing. IM DUSTEE (9) will appreciate this drop-in class and gets an ideal trailing draw and should settle handy and be storming home at the finish. A major winning chance. WIND SOCK (7) excellent run last start and rarely runs a poor race. Sure to make his presence felt. HES LETHAL (2) resumes here from a spell and has shown to have good ability when right. Didn’t fire last campaign but has trialled well and expect a forward showing fresh. LOCHIEL LAD (6) MOMENTUM SHIFT (5) THEROCKGOD (8) and MACK PACK (1) all have ability and are amongst the place and first four chances.

OVERVIEW: SPUN SILVER (6) speedy mare that continues to race well and is suited by the sprint trip and in this class. Sure to be prominent and can fight out the finish.  Stable mates WINGATE GUY (8) and IAMAWINGATE (7) have been competitive in this class over a long period and must be rated amongst the chances again. Both FEEL THE KNIGHT (5) and MIKI MARK (4) are going well enough to be competitive here and just needs suitable trips to have claims. Both FOUR STARZZZ RUBY (3) and THE MAJORS GIRL (2) have favourable draws and are amongst the place chances whilst QUEENHIGH FLUSH (9) is a first four hope.
