Race 1:
OVERVIEW: CHEERS POVERTY (3) is a fast beginner and produced a dominant display when he led throughout in a slick mile rate of 1.56.8 two starts ago. He couldn’t get across to the markers in the early stages and ended up being in the one out and one back trail at his latest fifth. He is drawn to find the lead again here and will take catching. THEBUCKSONYOU (6) is a consistent 4yo pacer, which finished off best to win at Mildura on February 11. He didn’t have much luck after commencing from the inside of the second line and went down fighting at his latest second so he warrants respect. JOE GOT ROLLED (7) is awkwardly drawn but will appreciate a significant drop back in class on his latest seventh in the Echuca Cup and is capable of improving on his numerical form. MIDNIGHT PIRATE (8) is racing well enough to figure in the finish and CAULONIA TERROR (10) should be finishing off strongly.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: It is a very open race with many winning chances. GOOD BOOTS BINDI (1) is a handy sprinter, which will prove hard to beat providing he doesn’t have to expend too much energy trying to hold a forward position at the start. IM BLINGIN IT (6) is poorly drawn but he ran a good race for third behind the very smart pacer My Ultimate Jimmy when resuming since October. This race is a little easier and he should be fitter so he must be respected. FOXY TWO GLOVES (9) bounced back into winning form when she sustained a long run to score nicely at Mildura last week. A repeat performance will see her being very competitive here. THE NAKED ART (3) is racing in good form and is worth thought along with GO AWAY AGAIN (5), which performs best when he is able to lead.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: WATCHTHECLOCK (1) trailed the leader, came to the outside in the home straight and finished off strongly to win over ROYAL SAXON (5) at Mildura on February 04 and he is drawn to receive a similar trip here. He chased hard when second in a slick mile rate of 1.56.8 at his latest attempt so he appears to be hard to beat. CALF PEN (4) performed well at the trials prior to a handy finishing second behind the in-form pacer Wicked Confession at Mildura last outing. He is racing in good form and should be hitting the line strongly. ROYAL SAXON (5) was unplaced for the first time in six starts for the season when sixth last outing but he was caught up behind tiring horses and had excuses. He led throughout in a mile rate of 1.58.1 three starts ago and should be competitive again. ROCKNROLL LENNY (6) is resuming since December but he won a trial at Mildura last week and has the ability to figure in the finish.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: MY ULTIMATE JIMMY (6) was resuming since December when a big winner over JAXON BEACH (7) at Mildura, where he sustained a long run out three horses wide from the bell in a slick mile rate of 1.57.0. He is an exciting talent having won seven of his ten starts on the track and he is the horse to beat again. HOT DEAL (2) looms as the main danger. He missed out narrowly in two Mildura attempts prior to a fifth behind the talented pacer Chase A Dream in the Pure Steel on Hunter Cup night at Melton. SANTA CASA BEACH (4) performs best when he is able to lead and bounced back into winning form when he led throughout at Mildura on February 04. He is a good chance of finding the lead again so he must be respected. TOUGH AINT ENOUGH (5) and JAXON BEACH (7) are both capable of showing up without surprising.

Race 5:
OVERVIEW: BRAVE ART (9) is yet to miss a place in five starts (3 wins) for the season and is meeting similar opposition here. She finished off quickly to win at Mildura last outing, gets into the race with a concession claim and is undefeated in two starts on the track so there are a lot of positives about her chances. NEVS DREAM (2) is facing a steep rise in class but she is a brilliant beginner and dominated her rivals from the front when she scored easily at Mildura last outing so she is capable of taking the next step forward. RONZEL MICKY (8) ran against much stronger opposition at Mildura last outing and finished unplaced. Her form prior was sound and she finished off quickly to win at Mildura two starts ago so she is worth an investment. GLITZY ALL OVER (5) finished off solidly for second at Mildura last outing and has claims along with the South Australian visitor JUST MOCHA (7).
BACK: BRAVE ART (9) – 1 unit (each way)

Race 6:
OVERVIEW: THE NINJA (1) has been placed at his past six attempts and deserves to break through for a win. He attempted to lead throughout when a close second behind Sweet Marion three starts ago and worked hard at his next two placed attempts. SEASIDE SHOW (4) strikes a suitable assignment for his Mildura debut and should go well. He was placed in a mile rate of 1.58.9 when on debut, which would be more than competitive against this line up. ELISSAS DELIGHT (7) trailed the leader and finished a distant second at Mildura last outing. She has the perfect trailing draw and is a place chance again. MINNI VINNEY (2), TESSY BOO (3) and ITSALLGEE (5) are all worth thought in multiple combinations.

Race 7:
OVERVIEW: DIAMOND KRUSHER (3) is racing in career best form having won three of her past five starts. She led throughout and scored clearly against similar opposition last outing so she should prove hard to beat again. INDIANAS SON (1) led throughout at a Mildura victory on December 10. He has performed well without having a great deal of luck since and he will appreciate his best draw for a long time so he must be included amongst the leading chances. APOLOGY ACCEPTED (2) performed a long way short of expectations when a tiring seventh at Mildura last outing but his form prior was sound. He defeated INDIANAS SON (1) at a Mildura victory on February 11 and is drawn to gain a position close to the lead. LOUIEVILLE (7) ran an improved race last outing and has the perfect trailing draw. TAP TO PAY (5) is resuming without heading to the trials but will prove hard to beat if she is somewhere near her peak.

Race 8:
OVERVIEW: KEAYANG CRIPPA (5) has been racing well and gets his chance to break through for a win. He raced without cover throughout when second behind Nevs Dream at Mildura last outing and was beaten on the line after setting the pace three starts ago. HESASTAR (8) hasn’t performed up to expectations at his past two attempts but he will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and he is versatile enough to overcome being drawn on the second row. GRENADE (3) ran an encouraging race when second behind Ronzel Micky at Mildura last outing. He has early speed and should go well from his handy draw. BEARTASTIC WRITER (1) and MAGGACIS (7) are minor place hopes from their inside draw.
