Form Analysis by Braden Howlett

Race 1

A 2yo maiden where the more experienced runners in (3) MY FATAL CHARM who has placed, and (2) SNIPER SANZ who ran an improved race last start when also doing things wrong, may battle it out for the early lead. (5) LITTLE CAPPUCINA showed good gate speed in her trial, and should improve off her debut run beaten 25m in fast time. (7) YASTREMSKA LEIS and (4) JILLSTIGER have looked very green so far in their races but expect improvement to come, whilst (1) ONMYBACNKNEES JUDGE has won a trial, albeit in slow time.

Selections (5) LITTLE CAPPUCUNIA, (2) SNIPER SANZ, (3) MY FATAL CHARM, (7) YASTREMSKA LEIS

Race 2

An extremely even NR up to 49 race as usual, where (12) GOBSMACKED was well backed $12 into $6  last Sunday when well driven along the pegs to score. (10) STAROFREMEMBRANCE won impressively last start from back in field and is always placing in this grade.  (4) OH NO NEVER AGAIN loomed to win again before being run over, he will no doubt find a nice position with his customary gate speed and look the winner at some stage. (6) TWLIGHT BEACH brings the strongest form reference into this race but wont get her preferred pegs run, whilst (1) STEPUPNDANCE and (2) BINALONG BAY will sit close to the lead with cover and should get their chance.

Selections (12) GOBSMACKED, (6) TWLIGHT BEACH, (10) STAROFREMEMBRANCE (2) BINALONG BAY.

Race 3

Is a stand start event which (1) MY WAY faces for the first time. He paced away cleanly at his only trial attempt, and with a similar beginning, will take some beating. (3) POWER UP is the other on debut from the stand, but would need to improve his manners from the trials, hence I’m happy to take him on slightly in the market although he is flying. (5) ROCK ON PLAYBOY is a great beginner and he may just lead them a merry dance again, and is racing better then ever, whilst there is many others in field who could win with the right run, with (4) DENNY spotted hitting the line strongly last start.

Selections (1) MY WAY, (5) ROCK ON PLAYBOY, (3) POWER UP, (4) DENNY

Race 4

The Free For All horses once again face the mile start, where (7) MAGNETIC TERROR will be looking to replicate his strong win a month ago. Drew the 1 then, compared to the outside spot in 7 tonight, but he has blistering gate speed and I think he can find the front. (4) KEAYANG FIZTY is back suited to the front row mobile and will be looking to cross those inside him and most likely follow the (7), where (1) RAKADAN could be the fly in the ointment if he behaved and showed his previous Menangle form and gate speed. (7) IRON CLAD and (5) MAEBEE cop awkward draws after good runs in the Golden Apple in previous weeks, whilst (8) VANQUISH STRIDE could be the giant killer on the pegs off a hot speed if the gaps appear.

Selections (7) MAGNETIC TERROR, (4) KEAYANG FITZY, (5) MAEBEE, (8) VANQUISH STRIDE

Race 5

A small field assembles for the 65-74 class race, where (1) NEON was disappointing in 2 runs returning from a good break. He has not raced for 2 months since so he may have had issues, but he does look the early leader, before possibly handing to (3) CUSTOM HARLEY who is normally driven aggressively and should improve hugely off his trial 2 weeks ago. Heath woods normally has them fit 1st up, even off a good spell, and his class may be too good if right. (2) HAMMER DAN was very good in a slick mile race last start when 3rd and should have every chance, whilst (4) JAMES CAGNEY had good sectionals his past 2 starts, but would need to show some old killer instinct to run past the couple fancied ones.

Selections (2) HAMMER DAN, (3) CUSTOM HARLEY, (1) NEON, (4) JAMES CAGNEY

Race 6

The speedy (1) MANINKY MOONSHINE draws the pole and gets in well with the 3yo concession claim. He only battled when back in field over the 2090m last start, and I don’t think he will be getting any 32 second quarters like he did in a weaker grade over 2090m 4 starts back, but does find a leg when leading. (3) SHOEBEES SPIRIT is going better than ever, and with any luck in running, he will be extremely hard to hold out late, whilst (8) SAPPHIRE GAMBER will be hoping (1) performs well and allows him to get the nice sprint lane run. (7) MONEYS NO ISSUE is going well but draws awkward and will be reliant on some speed up front, whilst (2) BUSLOAD OF FAITH will settle on speed and be thereabouts again.

Selections (3) SHOEBEES SPIRIT, (8) SAPPHIRE GAMBLER, (7) MONEYS NO ISSUE, (1) MANINKY MOONSHINE

Race 7

(1) SHARMEY draws the pole and gets his chance to bowl along even quarters in front and is suited by the driving style of Liam Older. (8) THE GANG got it all wrong the barrier 1 last start when favourite, but has the most upside in this field and has options from the draw. (3) INSIDE THREE BARS claims into the race with the 3yo concession, and should be peaking now 3rd up,  and should be going close at his best. (2) STIR ME UP gets a good draw but hasn’t won since March 2024, and (7) COOLANDCOLLECT has some chance at his best if got the right run in transit.

Selections (8) THE GANG, (1) SHARMEY, (3) INSIDE THREE BARS, (2) STIR ME UP
