Race 1:

HEREFORAGOODTIME (2) was a winner two starts back when he defeated LINCS POOR BOY by 3 metres. He does his best racing when he can lead. If he leads tonight he will be very hard to pass.

FENG SHUI STAR (1) should enjoy the inside draw and he should perform well after a few months off.

CLARENDEN LEGACY (3) and MAGIC CAPTAIN (7) are also chances.

Race 2:

KEAYANG HUNGRY (7) was a little disappointing at Mount Gambier last start. He won his two starts before that though and was a winner at Kapunda against a similar field. He is a strong chance tonight.

WAITPINGA STORM (1), STAY ANGRY (9) and MURRA LANE (8) are also chances.

Race 3:

ALORA (2) has been in some terrific form as of late and attacking the line well. If she can get the right run then she will be sprinting home late. She will love the distance.

NAROBI (1) will enjoy the inside draw. Her recent form has been strong.

LOCHINVAR MAGIC (5) is first up but he will be right in the finish if he is at his best.

BITOFDUTCHCOURAGE (3) is very inconsistent but it may pay to keep him safe.

Race 4:

DHAULAGIRI (6) meets a very tough race tonight but his recent form has been strong. He has won three of his last four starts. If he can get the right run tonight then he should be hard to beat again.

BELLEZZA NERA (5), TEMBIE (3) and PEACE OF HEAVEN (1) are also chances.

Race 5:

STOCKMAN PETER (7) was producing some superb form back in January. He ran in some really hot races in Melbourne and was strong in all of them. If he can recapture some of that form tonight then he is worth some strong consideration.

IS THAT A BID (12), MEADOW VALLEY STAR (11) and MADAME KELLY (3) are also chances.

Race 6:

CHILDERS ROAD (2) should have the speed to cross down and lead today. He has found his first winnable race for a while tonight. He is a strong chance.

SMOKIN STREPO (5), WELL WELL (4) and ABHISHEK (7) are also chances.

Race 7:

MEET ME AT THE BEACH (1) was a winner at long odds last start here at Globe Derby from a tricky draw. She should be able to lead from gate one tonight. She will be hard to beat.

NEED ME SOME SUGAR (4), CYCLONE BRENDA (7) and ROLLING REMONA (5) are also chances.

Race 8:

CADENCE LANE (5) has won two of her last three starts. Her stand start record is only fair but if she steps away cleanly then she should be too classy for this field.

DAISY BOUCHEA (4) looks like the main danger if she produces her best run.
