Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

BLACK VIPER (3) landed his first victory three starts back with a10m defeat of NONIS GOLD CLASS. Placed in both subsequent appearances, an error proved costly last time out. Trotting cleanly will aid his challenging chances here.

DINGANE (1) made an error when returning from a spell which ended his chances. Runner-up in both since, manners and a 10m advantage over the main danger can see him throw down the challenge for the account opening victory.

THE RED MENACE (2) chased home for the bronze here three starts back behind BLACK VIPER. An error last start ended his chances and if able to trot consistently, might provide some resistance.

SELECTIONS: BLACK VIPER (3), DINGANE (1), THE RED MENACE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

MISS BLUETRUMP (2) has placed at her last two outings following a spell and may just have found the right set up to open her account. Only beaten a neck when resuming, she held the silver last start behind WHATA GOOD FEELING. Settling hand from this gate can see her capitalse.

CEE CEE SWIFT (4) will be on debut for Mouse Brennan. A daughter of the super sire Bettors Delight, she has shown enough in recent trials to suggest that she can make an impact early in her career.

GOODTIME DOLLY (1) will take benefit from her last start when resuming from a spell and grabbing the silver at Redcliffe. The inside gate assists her chances.

SELECTIONS: MISS BLUETRUMP (2), CEE CEE SWIFT (4), GOODTIME DOLLY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS BLUETRUMP (2) to win

RACE THREE

AJAY VOLSTEAD (9) was enormous in The Great Square, and while he may not have been able to challenge the mighty KEAYANG ZAHARA, it is definitely a case of what might have been. Closing strongly to take the Stellar Square the previous start, 10m looks a comfortable handicap to bounce back into winning form.

DARCYS FIREBALL (8) is on the short back up after stepping out in metropolitan company on Saturday from the front tape when just behind the money. Completing a hat-trick leading into that assignment, he was able to produce wins from the mobile and the tapes and from 10m, can look to issue a challenge in this line up.

NORTHERN HEIGHTS (7) tackled The Great Square and was not helped by the starting debacle, firing up and ending any hopes. Game in defeat the start prior when taking AJAY VOLSTEAD all the way to the wire, he is right in this.

ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (4) has been kept fresh since his last appearance where he made an error under mobile conditions. Placed in both prior runs, he can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: AJAY VOLSTEAD (9), DARCYS FIREBALL (8), NORTHERN HEIGHTS (7), ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: AJAY VOLSTEAD (9) to win

RACE FOUR

CROOKWELL EYES (8) has been just behind the placings at his past three in succession, the latest when only 4m from the winner after hitting the line strongly. 7m from WHIRLWIND WILBUR two starts back when again making good metres in the closing stages, he can secure the right trail here to cash in.

LIZZIES SON (5) put it together here three starts back to claim a 4m margin despite making errors in the run. Following that with the silver behind CASCATA, he has been banished to the trials and if able to bring the right manners, he can throw it down off the front tape.

WHIRLWIND WILBUR (11) never got warm last time when chasing home to finish in the second half of the pack behind NATTY PAGGER. He will need to overcome the 30m tape to feature.

IGNITE (2) was asked to sit parked last week and after the tough trip was out of tokens on the closing stages. Placed in three of his previous four, he has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: CROOKWELL EYES (8), LIZZIES SON (5), WHIRLWIND WILBUR (11), IGNITE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CROOKWELL EYES (8) win/place

RACE FIVE

LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (5) started from this same gate lat start and was sent hard in search of the lamp lighting duties. Blazing the path, he was collared in the last strides as BRACKEN WARRIOR arrived. Runner-up in three of his past five starts, he will be trying to grip on again.

VICTREE CHARLIE (1) knows how to get barrier one, however, it is the worst gate owing to lack of speed when the arms fold. Making good metres again last start for the bronze, he has placed three of the past four and only needs a gap in time to descend and issue a challenge.

ROYAL PRINCESS (9) was a winner here two starts back when taking control and repelling the challengers. 3rd last start, she can chime in here.

SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (6) was locked away on the inside last start before making some late metres for the bronze. The gate dents her chances.

SELECTIONS: LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (5), VICTREE CHARLIE (1), ROYAL PRINCESS (9), SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (5) to win

RACE SIX

HOT AND TREACHEROUS (6) backs up from Saturday night where he produced a handy effort in grabbing the bronze in running some sharp fractions. Second up from a spell in that contest, he should strip fitter for the outing and as the reigning track record holder from the tapes over this trip, he can make the most of conditions to cash in.

SEND IT (7) is the lone player off the 30m tape, but is such a quick beginner that it should pose little issue. Only 7m from CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD last time under mobile conditions, the start prior he tackled the Christmas Cup behind LEAP TO FAME. This assignment is well within reach.

ARKIN WICKED (2) was runner-up behind TURN IT UP here two starts back after taking cover. Trying to set a strong tempo in front last start when fading, a soft trip here will help.

COMMODORE JUJON (3) is a versatile veteran that has limited experience from behind the tapes. Winning under mobile conditions two starts back, he is never far away.

SELECTIONS: HOT AND TREACHEROUS (6), SEND IT (7), ARKIN WICKED (2), COMMODORE JUJON (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MACS A DUDE (8) was luckless last start and with a cleaner passage could have finished closer than the beaten margin behind CANADIAN LASS. Midfield two starts back from this same gate, he will again need some factors in his favour, but if the right trip can present, he will get the opportunity to capitalise.

IDEAL DESIRE (4) was first up for the new barn last start when finding the front early before taking cover and finishing with the silver behind YANKEE C J at the mile. With the speed to make an early raid here, she can issue the challenge.

HATTIES JEWEL (1) should take benefit from her last appearance where she was resuming from a spell. With good hustle off the arm, she has the options to feature.

JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2) had the speed to arrive here last start, powering home over the top. Producing a career PB at start 196 with the win, she can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: MACS A DUDE (8), IDEAL DESIRE (4), HATTIES JEWEL (1), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MACS A DUDE (8) win/place

RACE EIGHT

BRACKEN WARRIOR (9) was able to overcome gate 10 here last week, working home with too much too offer in claiming victory by a head. The map looks set to be a carbon copy of that last start victory and with that scenario, he can repeat.

OUR DICKIE BART (7) will appreciate this grade despite the wide gate after tackling Saturday night company at his past two. Not suited from back in the pack in an on-pace dictated affair taken by BASILISK BOB, he can challenge here.

MONOPOLLIE (6) was snagged off the arm from this same gate last time when closing strongly in the latter stages. A winner two back, he can chime in.

HEZA MAYWYN (5) was midfield behind ULTIMATE ARK last start which followed a close 3rd. With the right trip, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: BRACKEN WARRIOR (9), OUR DICKIE BART (7), MONOPOLLIE (6), HEZA MAYWYN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BRACKEN WARRIOR (9) to win

RACE NINE

BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3) was beaten here thee starts back when sent out deep into the red, finishing 4m from the winner. Strong to the line last start behind CHEERSTOLOU, he has the early speed to get handy and throw down the challenge.

HARPERVILLE (2) was much better last start when sent hard off the arm from gate 7 to take control. Fighting until deep into the stretch and only beaten a half-head, an improved gate is a huge help for this assignment.

COPPERFIELD (1) has hit the board in four of his past five, the latest behind CHEERSTOLOU. With all the favours from the inside, he is a podium player.

PUMPKIN PAT (8) should appreciate a soft trip behind the speed and will be stalking the gap opening. Hitting the line smartly last time, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3), HARPERVILLE (2), COPPERFIELD (1), PUMPKIN PAT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-8

RACE TEN

ULTIMATE ARK (11) has two wins in his last three with wins at the middle trip and the mile. Too slick in the closing stages three starts back, he scored a smart win last time when showing the closing speed to arrive. This race should generate the right rebook

YANKEE C J (1) forced the issue last start from gate 6 and was able to work to the front. Keeping a strong tempo on posting a winning margin of 9m, he can take benefit of the gate and will have no trouble with the middle trip.

WICKED SUSAN (6) faces a tough gate but has been racing well since arriving in Qld. With two wins and 2nd in four appearances, she can feature.

LENNY LINCOLN (9) worked to the front last start and was trying to fend them off when runner-up behind ULTIMATE ARK. Tempo will aid his hopes.

SELECTIONS: ULTIMATE ARK (11), YANKEE C J (1), WICKED SUSAN (6), LENNY LINCOLN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ULTIMATE ARK (11) to win
