Tonros Prince took a big step towards being the ?Last Man Standing? in the South West Zones annual Tontine Series when an emphatic winner in the 2nd Quarter Final of the Pacers Series at Beckley Park last night.?

Driven by classy young reinsman Grant Campbell (pictured) for Great Western trainer Peter Manning, Tonros Prince was joined by Aureole, Elleovalooka, Janes Gold, Kavorka Kid, Krayzelburg, Letsgetreadytorumble, Loki (winner of Quarter final 1), Take Silk, Tonros Prince, Waingaro Delwyn and Hoof Beats (1st Emerg) to advance through to the Semi-final (at Ballarat) of the pacers Group B Series after last nights Quarter Finals.

In the Trotters Series trainers Ron Comben and Gary Bailey were successful last night with their respective charges This Lady Rules and Trappers Spirit.? They were joined in next Thursdays group B semi final by Deeval, Diggers Glory, Fast Deal, Gooroc Gun, Illawong Larissa, Keynote, Mon Cherrie, Page Miss Glory, Pinevale Bella (1st Emerg), Sister Care, and Tee Cee County.
