It’s a bumper night of racing at Gloucester Park tomorrow night with 10 events and a host of stars engaged on the card. The August Cup is the feature event won by Vampiro last year, pictured above.

RACE 1 – WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALE PACE
1. Aiden De Campo (Whoswhointhezoo): “Racing really well. Career best form. Drawn to lead and this is his chance to pick up a city win.”
2. Greg Bond (Captain Kirk): “Held up last week. Expect him to be very competitive in this race. Got good gate speed. If we find the front we would hold it.”
3. Ross Olivieri (The Last Parisian): “In good form. If he gets the right run he should play a part.”
4. Matt Scott (Carramar Philemon): “Needs the pegs. He will find it tough.”
5. Gary Hall Jnr (The Verandah): “Struggling for draw. Not racing badly. Place chance.”
7. Dylan Egerton-Green (Thejewelinhereye): “Better drawn for one run. She will be driven to her usual racing pattern.”
8. Ross Olivieri (Diamond Life): “Race hard mare had the drop on him last start. On the improve but will be hard to win. Can run a nice race.”
10. Aldo Cortopassi (Art Tutor): “Good draw but it probably won’t suit him. Needs a genuinely run race.”
11. Kyle Harper (El Sunami): “Draw suits. Last run was solid. Place claims with luck.”

RACE 2 – WORLDWIDE PRINTING PACE
1. Brett Smith (Burning Rubber): “I couldn’t be happier with the horse and his lead up to Friday night. He races best in the lead so we will be looking to take advantage of that.”
2. Emily Suvaljko (Jack William): “Finds a better draw this week and am looking to drive him positively. He’s a horse that’s more tough than speedy. Will look for a forward position and expect him to run a good race.”

4. Emily Suvaljko (Talkerup): “Finds a better draw this week in a weaker race. Will be look to go forward off the arm and find a position.”

7. Kyle Harper (Black Jack Zac): “Racing well. Drawn awkward but better held up for one run. Needs some luck but not impossible.”

1. Aiden De Campo (Ultimate Offer): “Haven’t driven him before. Gets out well enough. Will do our best to hold up.”

3. Stuart McDonald (Our Rhythm N Blues): “Place chance as he should be close enough.”
4. Greg Bond (Courage Tells): “Hopefully he can run top four or five.”
5. Michael Grantham (Crocodile Kid): “Awkward draw. Look to run on.”
