Closing time is drawing near for the 2013 Nursery Pace to be held in Queensland.
2013 will see the 23rd running of the 2YO Nursery Pace for Colts and Geldings and for Fillies. It will also mark the 3rd year that the 3YO series has been conducted for both sexes.
A once only payment of $385 (including GST) will ensure that your horse retains eligibility for not only the 2YO series to be held in 2013 but also the 3YO series that will be conducted in 2014.
Paying this economical figure enters your juvenile pacer in this exciting series with Heats for 2YO’s of $10,000 held at Parklands, Gold Coast on Friday 10 May 2013. Those progressing to the Final, to be held at Albion Park on Saturday 18 May, will chase Group 1 Glory and a slice of the $100,000 on offer. The payment also enters your horse in the 3YO series to be held in 2014 with heats and a Group 2 Final. A horse does not have to race in the 2YO series to be eligible for the 3YO Series.
Separate Heats and Finals will be held for both sexes and entry is open to ALL current 2YO’s. A horse will still be eligible to start in a Heat if it has not yet had a race start.
In 2013 Albion Park will also play host to the Finals and Consolations of the Australian Pacing Gold for 2YO fillies. So if you are the owner of an APG eligible filly, take note that the Nursery Pace heats are held one week after the APG Final, with the Nursery Pace Final held two weeks after the APG Final. What great timing to extend your stay and chase the riches on offer in Queensland next year.
For further information on the Series, nomination forms or any other enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact the RQL Harness Racing office on (07) 3869 9774 or follow the link for more information.
The nomination fee of only $385 is due by Saturday 17 November 2012.
