From today, Harness Racing Australia’s (HRA) detailed On-Line Reports for Sires and Broodmare Sires will be available free of charge on the industry website.

“Until now, these comprehensive breeding reports have only been accessible via an annual subscription fee”, HRA Chairman, Mr Geoff Want, explained.
“However, after strong feedback from workshops conducted as part of the Australian Standardbred Breeding Panel work, these reports will be provided free-of-charge as an important service to the industry in the hope all breeders will be aided in their planning and decision making”.
Those interested in accessing the reports will be required to register with HRA on an annual basis, and agree to conditions of use which will apply to assist in managing the service.
Current subscribers will be automatically transferred to the new reporting arrangements. Letters detailing the financial arrangements and transitional information has been sent to affected persons.
It should be noted that the provision of the free service may be reviewed in the longer term, dependent on considerations such as take-up and use of the information.
Any queries, should be directed to Kathy Gebert or Laraine Rischitelli on 03 9227 3000.
