Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Maggie Hundertmark and Mr. Mark Holton as new Board Members, effective as of March 17, 2026.
Ms. Hundertmark brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate governance, risk management, strategy development, and organisational transformation across the financial services, advisory and equestrian sport industry. Ms. Hundertmark is an accomplished board director and senior executive with over two decades of international leadership experience both in Australia and across the globe.
Ms. Hundertmark has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations and jurisdictions through major restructures, digitisation efforts and high-impact change programs. Known for her ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and manage reputational risk, she brings measured judgement and clarity of thought to every board or executive table.
Ms. Hundertmark holds a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Business Economics, a Master’s (Hons) degree in Management Science and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Mr. Holton OAM is a highly regarded Australian business advisory expert, keynote speaker and consultant who brings than 40 years’ experience as an accountant and tax agent. Across numerous roles, Mr. Holton is recognised for helping firms strengthen strategy, leadership and advisory capability, and for delivering engaging presentations and training across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and North America.
In 2025, Mr. Holton was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division as part of the King’s Birthday Honours. The award recognised Mr.Holton’s outstanding service to the community through a broad range of sporting, educational, and charitable organisations, including his role as the founding Chair of the Regional Academies of Sport, and his long-standing role as the Honorary Treasurer of the Ronald McDonald House, Greater Western Sydney.
Mr. Holton’s qualifications include a Master of Commerce and a range of postgraduate credentials in accounting, management, education and financial planning.
These appointments follow the conclusion of the tenure of Mr. Adam Fairley, who has served as a director of HRNSW for four years.
While Mr. Fairley's tenure on the HRNSW Board is at an end, HRNSW have no doubt that his expertise and experience will continue to benefit the industry well into the future. We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Fairley for his service.
