A true headline-maker on the North American stage, Legendary Hanover is poised to launch the next phase of his career as one of the most exciting freshman stallions ever offered to Australasian breeders.

This record-breaking pacer will be available for the first time in Australia and New Zealand for the 2025/26 breeding season, offering access to a colt whose rare combination of brilliance on the racetrack, elite pedigree, and bulletproof temperament has captured attention across the globe.

In 2024, Legendary Hanover was the undisputed star of the glamour boy division and arguably one of the most competitive in recent memory. He lit up the track with a blistering 1:46.2 victory in the Cane Pace, the fastest pacing mile of the year and a new Meadowlands track record. Just a week earlier, he stormed to victory in the Meadowlands Pace Final, pulling away by more than five lengths in 1:46.3, setting a stakes record and becoming the only three-year-old in history to post multiple sub-1:47 miles. Throughout the season, he consistently outraced the very best, including Mirage Hanover, Captain Albano, and Nijinsky.

Across his career, Legendary Hanover won twelve races and earned $1,088,681, collecting some of the sport’s most prestigious titles. He also claimed the Empire Breeders Classic, smashing another track record with a powerful 1:48.1 performance - further proof of his speed and ability to back up brilliance week after week.

His dominance wasn’t limited to his sophomore campaign. As a two-year-old, Legendary Hanover was crowned Canada’s Two-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year and received the coveted O’Brien Award. He won six of nine starts, including a standout performance in the Dream Maker Final, where he cruised to victory in 1:50 flat - winning by over nine lengths in the fastest time recorded by a 2YO pacing colt that year. He followed up with victories in the Nassagaweya and Champlain Stakes, and took out a Metro elimination, finishing a close second in the final.

Legendary Hanover is the fastest and richest son of World Champion Huntsville, but what sets him apart as a stallion prospect is the depth and recent potency of his maternal line. His dam, Lillian Hanover (Well Said), has already produced three foals to pace in 1:52 or faster, including the talented free-for-aller Linedrive Hanover (p,1:47s, $655,580). His second dam, Lazan Hanover (Matt’s Scooter), produced an incredible nine winners from nine foals, including Dealt A Winner (p,1:47.2, $1.5M). His third dam, Lodi Hanover (Big Towner), produced eleven winners, five of whom earned six figures, including Little Brown Jug champion Timesareachanging.

Bred on one of Huntsville’s most successful crosses with Well Said mares, Legendary Hanover offers real prepotency: from just 19 runners bred this way, 74% are winners, over 58% have won at two, and 68% have paced in 1:55 or faster. Adding further genetic strength is a 3x3 reverse sex cross to Western Hanover, a proven formula for success within the No Nukes sire line.

With genuine track-record-breaking speed, balanced conformation, black-type consistency, and a pedigree full of performance, Legendary Hanover is more than a stallion prospect - he’s a generational opportunity.

For the first time, Legendary Hanover will be available in the flesh to breeders across Australia and New Zealand, standing at Cobbitty Equine Farm. Cobbitty Equine Farm continues to expand their stallion roster each season, one which reflects not only quality, but affordable pricing and pedigrees to match all breeders bloodlines.
