SHE only has one runner on the card, but that should be all Emma Stewart needs to add to her impressive Southern Cross Final record.

Though based in Victorian, the premier trainer has been a regular raider during the past decade, winning South Australian majors seemingly at will.

Along with Cups, Derbys and Oaks, Stewart has captured seven Southern Cross Finals for two-year-olds and five three-year-old Finals since 2015!

Poised to contest another two-year-old decider at Globe Derby tomorrow night, Stewart will be represented by the short-priced favourite No Notthebuttons.

Successful in his heat after racing in the 'death' seat, No Notthebuttons has drawn to lead throughout from barrier two.

With local driver Ken Rogers to take the reins, the son of Art Major is a $1.70 TAB Fixed Odds favourite.

"He did all the work in the heat and was still too tough," Stewart said. "From the draw he will be going forward, but as he showed last week, his chances aren't reliant on finding the lead.

"It's a Final, so obviously it is going to be a harder race, but he is up to the task."

Also triumphant in his qualifier, Bay Jim Major is considered the main danger after drawing ideally in the pole.

Prepared by veteran horseman Les Harding, Bay Jim Major is listed at $2.25.

"Bay Jim Major has done a terrific job all season, and his record speaks for itself," Stewart said. "The draw certainly puts him in a prime position."
