Time is running out - only 2 weeks to go, with the raffle closing on Wednesday 24 August 2022 and drawn 2 days later. Only 200 tickets are available.

The prizes have been generously provided by Alabar Bloodstock Victoria, Northern Rivers/ Lowallong Farms in Victoria and Allwood Stud in WA. All prizes are for use in the 2022/23 breeding season.

If you are a WASBA member at close of raffle, you are also in the running to win one of three $1,000 vouchers to use on the available stallions at the participating studs.

SECOND prize is a service to one of the remaining stallions after the first prize winner has chosen.

THIRD to FIFTH prize winners each receive $1,000 service fee vouchers, to be used on service fees for any stallion available from Alabar, Allwood Stud or Northern Rivers Equine.  Third to Fifth prize winners must be current WASBA members (pay before close of raffle if you are not already a member). We welcome all Australian and New Zealand members.

The incomparable Art Major USA 1:48.4 US$2,727,224 won the Breeders Crown (at 3 and 4), Cane Pace, Canadian Pacing Derby, US Pacing Championship etc. He is the sire of the current USTA Horse of the Year in Test Of Faith and Australian champion Majestic Cruiser amongst many. He is a seven time Australian Leading Juvenile Sire. He has produced the winners of over $200 million. His daughters have produced the winners of over $75 million. He is the sire of 16 individual millionaires.

First season sire Century Farroh 1:49.0 CA$1,557,016 is by World Champion Mach Three CA one of the greatest ever racehorses and sires. Century Farroh won the William Haughton, the Canadian Pacing Derby, Dan Patch and Breeders Crown etc. The 2019 and 2020 O’Brien winner and winner of the 2020 Canadian Horse of the Year, his dam belongs to the same family as Mach Three, doubling up the blood, and won over $380,000 herself. She produced 7 winners of over $2.45 million. The granddam produced 9 winners of over $2 million.

Fly Like An Eagle 1:53.9 $699,419 was an outstanding race horse. Also by World Champion Mach Three CA, Fly Like An Eagle was an Australasian champion juvenile winning the 2YO Harness Jewels, NZ Derby and 3YO Breeders Crown. Named NZ 2YO of the Year, he belongs to the immediate family of Anvil Vance, Mach Doro and millionaires Changeover and Chokin. From just 4 moderate sized crops he has already produced multiple Group 1 winners including the exceptional filly Wonderful To Fly and several other exciting 2 and 3yos.
