IT has been a mixed week for junior driver Jack Callaghan.

The 20-year-old was involved in two race falls within seven days and remarkably bounced back from both incidents driving winners at the following meeting he competed in.

Callaghan was involved in an incident at Bankstown last Monday week when leading the field with Te Quiro.

He then drove two winners at Penrith on Thursday night and also won a race at Newcastle last Monday, however, was tipped out of the sulky a race later when driving

Hot N Gold that broke and fell around the home turn.

Callaghan was cleared of any injuries and bounced back at Menangle the following day and drove a treble.

Callaghan, an in-demand reinsman, has drives in six of the nine races at Penrith tonight.

He then has four drives at Newcastle tomorrow and seven drives at Menangle on Saturday including three Group 1 drives.

The iForm team have put together the best bets for tonight’s meeting:

Penrith best bet

Race 1: Rocknpenny (4)

Back from the Breeders Challenge, gets a draw that can see him lead and looks hard to beat from there.

Penrith next best

Race 3: Dashing Cheddar (1) Gets a gun draw thanks to the concessions and from there she can give a sight.

The Penrith quaddie

Race 5: 5,7,10,1

Race 6: 2,3,10

Race 7: 2,10

Race 8: 5,3
