Final scratchings are taken at 8.30am on the morning of each race meeting.
Trainers are reminded of their obligation to ensure their horse is fit to start prior to 8.30am on race day/night and are advised Stewards may impose a fine if a scratching occurs after the scratching deadline and particularly where an emergency runner is denied a start.
