Once the team at Tumby Park got word that APG were about to call entries for the 2020 National Mixed they didn’t hesitate in coming forward to support the sale that’s so important for the sport going forward.

Tumby took the view that they would offer some very good racing prospects from their camp and by doing this it would ensure this sale would grow into something extremely special.

When we spoke to Scott Whitton head of the team he said “ clearly we are really keen to back this sale with entries we think have the potential to do a job for buyers that support our horses. Every horse (bar one) if not sold Sunday night will be going back into work for us on Monday. With 73 horses in work, we just wanted to trim the numbers a touch and thought this could be a win - win for all parties involved“.

Anyone involved with harness racing that has an appetite for well bred, ready to go with potential stars of the future, should take the time to look at these and the other lots available. With 194 Lots in total there is a reason why APG has been blown away at the level of enquiries before the bidding starts at 3pm Thursday the 5th of August.

The below is the Tumby draft, a powerful lineup well worth looking into.
