Friday’s Gloucester Park meeting features the Westbred 2YO Classics for the fillies and the colts ande geldings.Double Expresso, pictured above, won last year’s Westbred Classic for the fillies.

RACE 1 – TABTOUCH PACE

1.Ryan Warwick (The Black Cardinal): “Bit plain on Tuesday. Hood back on and he will be on speed where he likes it. Lack of gate speed out wide makes it look like an easy lead. We all deserve a second chance.”

2.Jocelyn Young (Pierre Whitby): “Racing well. Just needs a genuinely run race and if he’s close enough he will be in it again.”

4.Ryan Bell (Blue Blazer): “One of those races where everything in it can win it. If he goes as well as he did at Bunbury he’s a chance.”

6.Shannon Suvaljko (Perlee Gates): “Racing well but needs luck.”

9. Aiden De Campo (Walsh): “Tough draw. Racing well. If it’s run to suit it wouldn’t surprise me to see him win.”

RACE 2 – CHOICES FLOORING PACE

4.Ryan Warwick (Lightning Jolt): “Had his chance last start. Go back to original pattern and hope to see a better result.”

5.Shannon Suvaljko (A Boy Named Rosie): “Needs luck in his races. Can play a part in this race with luck.”

7.Dylan Egerton-Green (Our Perkins): “Going okay. Tricky draw. Will probably rely on others misfortune.”

10. Aiden De Campo (Attack On Command): “Good draw. He can follow the speed and be there abouts.”

RACE 3 – MONDO SMALLGOODS PACE

3.Dylan Egerton-Green (Our Mista Kalle): “Racing well. Forget his run two starts back where he was a victim of circumstances. If he can find the front he’s the one to beat.”

5.Gary Hall Snr (Our Rhythm N Blues): “He will need a stroke of luck. May come across and end in the breeze.”

7.Ross Olivieri (Gee Jay Kay): “He was ordinary last week. We are looking for improvement tomorrow night. He will be driven more conservatively.”

9. Aiden De Campo (Delightfulreaction): “Same as Walsh. Racing well. Just needs the right run.”

10.Ross Olivieri (Stroke Of Luck): “Seen that barrier 10 can be the best or worst barrier. Drawn behind a horse that normally sits. Need some luck but the horse is going well.”

RACE 4 – VILI’S FAMILY BAKERY PACE

1.Ross Olivieri (Space Junk): “Nice draw. See what happens at the start. We will possibly look at sitting but he has got options.”

3.Gary Hall Snr (Mister Bushido): “Place chance. Not a good gate. May end up three back on the fence.”

5.Aiden De Campo (Bettor Be Oscar): “Need things to go our way. He won’t find the front with the one and two inside. He’s racing well.”

7.Gary Hall Snr (Just Rockon Bye): “Going well. Needs a truly run race. The speed on is key.”

RACE 5 – ALLWOOD STUD FARM 2YO FILLIES WESTBRED CLASSIC

1.Jocelyn Young (Just For Love): “Got the right draw. Place.”

2.Black Jack Baby (Shane Quadrio): “Pulled up well and ate her tucker up after. The main concern is she doesn’t hurt herself because she’s too good in herself. Last week she had easy sectionals and a little sprint at the end.”

8.Shannon Suvaljko (Benesari Lane): “Bad barrier. Place chance with luck in running.”

10.Ryan Bell (Minor Catastrophe): “Black Jack Baby is a speed horse and it looks like she will lead too easily. It’s a great draw for my filly who’s also a speed filly. She will be three back at worse and is a definite top five chance.”

11.Dylan Egerton-Green (Star For Me): “Loves following a helmet. Look to be four back on the pegs and rely on some luck..”

12.Aiden De Campo (Secret Reaction): “Her last run was good. Probably can’t beat Black Jack Baby from the draw. Things go her way then she can run a drum.”

RACE 6 – ALLWOOD STUD FARM 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS WESTBRED CLASSIC

1.Rob Gartrell (Give Us A Wave): “We’re certainly hoping to (hold up from one). He has got gate speed. He hasn’t quite had the draws. With two-year-olds it’s hard to know how they’re going when they continue to draw wide. It’s looking like a cracking race.”

3. Aiden De Campo (The Good Life): “Tricky draw. He’s got ability, I just don’t know where he gets from the draw.”

4.Jocelyn Young (Powerplay): “Tricky draw but has improved a lot with every run.”

5.Shannon Suvaljko (Robbie Rocket): “Unlucky last week. Great field in a strong two-year-old season. Is always a chance with his turn of foot.”

6.Justin Prentice (Beat The Bank): “Great little trier. Will need a lot of luck to figure.”

7.Dylan Egerton-Green (Talks Up A Storm): “Driver error last start. Draw doesn’t help him. Hoping there will be early speed that will play into our hands.”

10.Bryan Cousins (Carabao): “Good batch of two-year-olds this year. He’s won two races leading but I think he’s best coming from behind. I expect the one would hold up and I hope my bloke can hold his position.”

11. Justin Prentice (Mighty Ronaldo): “Happy with the draw. Couldn’t get a gauge off his Pearl run with no luck. Seems to have come through it well.”

RACE 7 – CATALANO TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT PACE

1.Dylan Egerton-Green (Im Batman): “Lots of speed on the front line. The two can over-race a bit. We will look to get an economical run. Place chance with luck.”

4.Ross Olivieri (Madam Meilland): “Going well for ages just with no luck.”

6.Shannon Suvaljko (Neighlor): “Been a nice horse throughout his racing career. Will need racing to bring him up to his best.”

7.Aiden De Campo (Captain Mannering): “Racing well and it’s an even field. He’s not without a chance. There’s a bit of speed on so we will go back.”

10. Jocelyn Young (Bad Round): “Nice effort last start. Suitable draw in a race that looks to have plenty of tempo.”

RACE 8 – WORLDWIDE PRINTING PACE

1.Aiden De Campo (Bettor Party): “Think he can hold up. Racing well. Crying out for a draw and we will look to take advantage now he’s got it.”

2.Gary Hall Snr (Mr Kiwi): “Straight to the fence behind the one I would think.”

4.Gary Hall Snr (Tuas Delight): “He will follow them around and hopefully run home.”

5.Gary Hall Snr (Robbie Easton): “Go forward to the breeze outside of Bettor Party and hopefully he can dictate from there.”

8.Gary Hall Snr (Extreme Prince): “Hopefully he can run home well.”

RACE 9 – DIRECT TRADES SUPPLY PAST PRESIDENTS CUP

1.Ross Olivieri (Motu Premier): “Will leave it to Chris off the gate. His trials have been good. We don’t know how much is under the bonnet. Place chance with winning claims.”

2.Rob Gartrell (Ocean Ridge): “It’s another race we’ve drawn inside Chicago Bull and Vultan Tin. We’re pretty fortunate to have barriers two and three. He’s really stepped up this campaign.”

3.Rob Gartrell (Our Jimmy Johnstone): “With Motu Premier in one it will be interesting to see what they do. We will be going forward with him and hopefully we can get the lead.”

5.Gary Hall Snr (Chicago Bull): “The one may hold up. I thought Bully was the run of the race last week. He will improve again.”

RACE 10 – THE LOMBARDO FILLIES AND MARES PACE

2.Aiden De Campo (Mandy Joan): “I’d imagine the one would sit. If she’s in front and goes up to what she did last start she will be hard to beat.”

3.Ryan Bell (Radiant Amber): “We will leave the options open. She’s back in form and we are confident she will hold that form. She’s shown the ability that she can match it with this line up. Good top three chance with luck.”

5.Shannon Suvaljko (Tiffany Rose): “Back to her best last week. Each way again.

6.Dylan Egerton-Green (Nowuseemesmile): “Crying out for a trailing draw. We will look to hit the fence and hit the line hard from there.”
