12 September 2018

HARNESS Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) has introduced strategies to assist industry stakeholders to breed with their mares and to subsidise feed deliveries during the current drought conditions.

HRNSW is providing assistance for breeders to transport their registered Standardbred mares to Yirribee Stud at Wagga or Alabar Farm in Victoria, provided that the mares are not normally serviced at either location.

HRNSW will assist with the transportation costs of the mares for which a contract exists with Yirribee Stud or Alabar Farm, however, all other costs remain at the expense of the owners.

HRNSW is also providing assistance for trainers to obtain feed by subsiding delivery costs.

To access these HRNSW drought assistance strategies, the application forms can be obtained by clicking on the below links. Application forms should be sent to assistance@hrnsw.com.au for consideration.
