Harness Racing New South Wales is pleased to announce a new partnership with award-winning Australian Vintage Limited (AVL), who have been appointed the Official Wine Partner for the remaining three legs of the current Carnival of Cups series.

The partnership will see AVL, through its McGuigan and Tempus brands, showcased when the series returns in Bathurst on 30 January, before moving onto Albury and finishing up in Penrith on 20 March.

The partnership reinforces the Carnival of Cups’ reputation for delivering premium race-night experiences that combine elite harness racing with top-tier food, wine and live entertainment.

AVL will feature prominently throughout the series, with racegoers able to enjoy a selection of the company’s offerings trackside, enhancing the hospitality experience for patrons attending the remaining Carnival of Cups meetings.

Harness Racing NSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman said the partnership aligns strongly with the Carnival of Cups brand and its focus on quality regional experiences.

“The Carnival of Cups has become one of the most anticipated events on our calendar, and partnering with AVL adds another premium layer to the experience for our patrons,” Mr Buckman said.

“The McGuigan and Tempus labels are a great fit for the series, celebrating regional excellence and quality — values that sit at the heart of harness racing in NSW.”

AVL Senior Brand Manager, Alyssa Kane said the partnership presents an exciting opportunity to connect with audiences across regional New South Wales.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Harness Racing NSW and the Carnival of Cups for the remainder of the series,” Mrs Kane said.

“The Carnival of Cups attracts a vibrant, engaged audience and provides the perfect platform to showcase McGuigan and Tempus wines in a relaxed, entertaining race-night environment.”

The Carnival of Cups series continues to draw strong crowds with its blend of feature racing, family-friendly activities and live trackside entertainment, cementing its place as a highlight of the regional sporting and events calendar.

The remaining legs of the Carnival of Cups will take place across key regional venues in the coming months, with AVL proudly supporting the series as the official wine partner.

Iconic Australian bands Birds of Tokyo, You Am I, Bachelor Girl, Jon Stevens, Boom Crash Opera, Taxiride, Eskimo Joe, Baby Animals and Chocolate Starfish are among the headline acts who will provide trackside entertainment at the next three Carnival of Cups events.
