Shepparton 22/12

R1 – 6:04pm – Wager Wednesday SHRC Facebook Pace - 1690m

5 – Interpretation

11 – Wazowski

3 – My Lady Sarah

13 – Inside Leg

Strategy:

Interpretation has been racing up in grade at his past few starts and now finds a far more suitable set-up. He was badly checked around the 400m last time when travelling well, and his mile record is solid. With early gate speed and a genuine tempo expected, he’s worth an each-way play at value.

BACK: 5 Interpretation – 1 Unit (win) / 1 Unit (place)

R2 – 6:30pm – 1260AM SEN Goulbourn Valley Maiden Pace – 1690m

5 – Hezaflashone

12 – Whatta Ya Up Taa

2 – Hello Possums

6 – Seventh Immortal

R3 – 7:03pm – Deakin Court Legends Trot – 2190m

7 – Just As I Am

11 – Farrokh

4 – Buslin Brodie

3 – Settle The Bill

Strategy:

Just As I Am couldn’t have been more impressive first-up, leading all the way from a wide draw and beating a very similar field. With natural improvement second-up and a likely comparable map, he looks capable of repeating the dose.

BACK: 7 Just As I Am – 2 Units (win)

R4 – 7:30pm – Leneva Park Thoroughbreds Pace – 2190m

9 – Clear Left

3 – Stitched Up Dan

5 – Im Dustee

10 – Big Sledge Hammer

Strategy:

Clear Left has had little go his way in recent starts, often getting back in the field and finding the line well. The booking of Jordan Leedham is a positive, and from the trailing draw he looks well placed to turn things around with the right run.

BACK: 9 Clear Left – 2 Units (win)

R5 – 8:00pm – Willowood Farm Trot – 1690m

2 – Magic Law

7 – I Am Harro

8 – Straight To Thetop

6 – Wallis

R6 – 8:30pm – $5000 1st Prize Dress To Impress Shep Cup 17th Jan Pace (3rd Heat) – 1690m

1 – Wingate Guy

3 – Lorimermajor

6 – Wheres Wood Wood

9 – The Accidental One

Strategy:

Wingate Guy draws ideally to improve on his recent form, provided he can kick up early and hold a forward position. His last couple of runs have been better than they appear on paper, and with even luck he can lift his strike rate at this track.

BACK: 1 Wingate Guy – 1 Unit (win)

R7 – 9:00pm – Enjoy Cobram Cup Sunday 28th December Trot – 2190m

8 – Charlies Tactics

9 – Hold That Magic

7 – Waikare Adrienna

4 – Jackofalltrades

Strategy:

Charlies Tactics comes from an astute stable and brings consistent recent form against similar opposition. The middle trip suits, and the draw allows him to work into the race at the right time and prove hard to hold out.

BACK: 8 Charlies Tactics – 3 Units (win)

R8 – 9:30pm – Enjoy Echuca Cup Thursday 1st January Pace (2nd heat) – 2190m

9 – Flip A Coin

2 – Arraps

7 – Epic Orion

5 – Elated

QUADDIE (Races 5-8)
