R1 – 5:52pm – Aldebaran Park Vicbred Voucher Trot - 2080m

4 – Faith Full

7 – Its Diamond Creek

9 – Buckles For Berry

3 – Settle The Bill

R2 – 6:22pm – NZB Standardbred Pace – 1609m

4 – Delightful Charm

3 – Keayang Omar

2 – City Rockstar

8 – Fun To Love

R3 – 6:52pm – Doogood Family Pace – 2080m

3 – Hitch To His Star

1 – Bearhunta

5 – Savannah Breeze

4 – Rollinginthedeep

Strategy:

This is a high-quality 0–1 race with several progressive types but Hitch To His Star stands out. He looks to have come back a better horse this prep, trialling sharply before a dominant first-up win at Shepparton where he led and powered away late. With natural improvement, he’s clearly the one to beat again.

BACK: 3 Hitch To His Star – 3 Units (win)

R4 – 7:30pm – Decron Horse Care Trot – 2080m

6 – I Am Hellbound

8 – Aldebaran Susanne

5 – Bar Tab

3 – Joe Lou

Strategy:

I Am Hellbound resumes following three solid trials where he trotted fluently compared to last campaign. He’s competed against strong opposition previously and, with more time and maturity, looks well placed if he brings the manners.

BACK: 6 I Am Hellbound – 2.5 Units (win)

R5 – 8:06pm – Kruezy Tips Pace (1st Heat) – 2080m

2 – Precious Belle

4 – Oceanique

3 – Blue Miki

5 – Byrneside Boom

R6 – 8:43pm – Cranbourne Fencing Pace – 2080m

5 – Lotakevi

2 – Self Exclusion

1 – Hair Razor

7 – Dot Ball

R7 – 9:17pm – Summersett Family Vicbred Voucher Maiden Pace – 2080m

1 – I Am On The Run

2 – Pre Eminant

4 – Miss Addi

3 – I Am The Wild One

Strategy:

I Am On The Run is a raw talent but very tricky with his manners. That said, his first-up run at Bendigo was outstanding – blowing the start, then charging home into second off a slow tempo. He’s trialled well since and, if he does things right, could simply outclass these.

BACK: 1 I Am On The Run – 2 Units (win)

R8 – 9:46pm – Blue Hills Rise Maiden Trot – 2080m

2 – Low Lie The Fields

1 – Bettor Man

7 – Lillys Tiger

5 – Voucher Queen

Strategy:

Low Lie The Fields was terrific first-up when runner-up at Geelong after leading, with the winner franking the form since. She maps to lead and control again here, and with natural fitness improvement, looks the one to run down.

BACK: 2 Low Lie The Fields – 2.5 Units (win)

QUADDIE (Races 5-8)

2,3,4,5

1,2,5,7,8

1,2,3,4

1,2,7

$120 = 50%
