Nominations for the IRT NZ Cup and Renwick Farms Dominion Trot have been finalised and the Australian contingent is strong. Headlined by two-time NZ Cup champion Swayzee and his half-brother Leap To Fame along with Aroda, Gee Heza Sport, Keayang Tokyo and Minstrel.

The Dominion Trot nominations include star Victorians pair Arcee Phoenix and Keayang Zahara along with Gus, Jilliby Ballerini, Keayang Chucky and Parisian Artiste.

Australian bred horses have dominated in recent years, having won the last 3 Pacing Inter Dominions, Hunter Cups, Miracle Miles and Queensland Championships, last 2 Victoria Cups and New Zealand Cups., whilst every Trotting Masters race is currently being held by an Australian bred horse, the last 5 Trotters Inter Dominions have all been Australian bred.
