HRNSW advises that following consultation with the UHRA the Board of HRNSW has endorsed changes to the Official Trials Policy to extend the period of which a horse may be away from the races before being required to trial.
Previously the policy required horses not having raced for a period of more than 42 days to complete a requalifying trial before being eligible to be nominated, however following submission from the UHRA, that period has now been increased to 60 days.
