AFTER a short break, the official Harness Racing New South Wales podcast The Sprint Lane will return for Season 5 this weekend in an expanded format.

With an exciting calendar of Group 1 racing on our doorstep, The Sprint Lane will open up new conversations through the podcast format to deep dive into every angle on and off the track.

There will be a new addition to the content offering in Season 5 with Club Menangle’s award-winning social media guru Jessica Watkins and racing manager David Wonson to partner up for “The Menangle Angle” every Thursday.

This will complement the hugely popular Sunday show “The SundHayes Session” hosted by racing broadcaster Greg Hayes.

Hayesy will return to the airwaves this Sunday to break down all the action from overnight and look ahead to a fascinating Breeders Challenge Finals night at Club Menangle on 26 October.

As always, he’ll be speaking to some of the leading participants to reflect on their achievements in the previous week of racing.

“The Menangle Angle” will be broadcast from Club Menangle every Thursday, with Jess and Wonno taking a look back on Tuesday racing at headquarters and casting an eye forward to the industry’s premier Saturday night meeting.

It will mark a return to The Sprint Lane podcast for Jess after being part of the first three seasons of the show in its previous livestreamed format.

“I’m really excited about making a return to The Sprint Lane and talking about the sport I love and breathe because it truly was one of my favourite parts of my job when we were doing the show previously,” Jess said.

“This will be a lot of fun and Wonno is such a great conversationalist when it comes to discussing the key issues in the industry and putting his own unique and amusing spin on the story. We get to talk all things Club Menangle in The Menangle Angle so I can’t wait.”

Both shows will continue to be part of The Sprint Lane program and will be accessible wherever you get your podcasts.
