EXCITING filly Miss Idaho is back!

South Australia's premier two-year-old last season, Miss Idaho hasn't raced since capturing the Youthful Stake in Melton on December 9.

That will change on Saturday night when the Ryan Hryhorec-trained pacer tackles the Pacing For Pink Classic at Globe Derby.

"It's good to have her back," Hryhorec said. "She was ready to go a week ago, but the race didn't stand up.

"Nonetheless, she's in on the weekend in what shapes as an ideal starting point for her this time in.

"I've had her at the trials where she went super and her work this week has been spot on."

Winner of her last seven starts - following a debut second - Miss Idaho has drawn to make a triumphant return from the pole.

Adding to Miss Idaho's prospects is her main danger, Tembie, has drawn the outside of the front row.

Unbeaten from three outings this season, Tembie boasts a four-run winning streak for astute horseman Dale Afford.

"She's drawn perfectly and will take a lot of running down," Hryhorec said. "Tembie has the form on the board as well as fitness on her side, which makes her the one to beat."

Should Miss Idaho perform to expectations, Hryhorec will head interstate once again with the daughter of Ultimate Machete.

"All going well, there are a couple of good options for her in Melton next month I will set her for," Hryhorec said. "For now I will just get her past Saturday night and go from there."
