As recently announced the Redcliffe Harness Racing Club's track flood lighting will undergo a $6m upgrade including the installation of LED lights. Throughout the project the Club and RQ will work with the contractor to keep racing operational, however some changes will be necessary to complete the project in a timely manner.

Please note the following after the commencement of the project earlier this week:

Thursday Meetings: From May through until the completion of the upgrade, Thursday meetings will commence later with the first race expected between 2 and 2.30pm.  This change will enable the contractor to maintain Thursdays in their work schedule and completion of the project to be expedited.

Training:  Training during week days will be restricted to 4am - 7am with no changes to weekend hours at this stage.

Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
