As recently announced the Redcliffe Harness Racing Club's track flood lighting will undergo a $6m upgrade including the installation of LED lights. Throughout the project the Club and RQ will work with the contractor to keep the impact on the racing schedule to a minimum, however some changes will be necessary to complete the project in a timely manner.

One initial change will be the start time for Thursday meetings.  From May through until the completion of the upgrade, Thursday meetings will commence later with the first race expected between 2 and 2.30pm.  This change will enable the contractor to maintain Thursday's in their work schedule and completion of the project to be expedited.

Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
