Disqualification – Harness Trainer – Mr Mark Reggett

On Tuesday 11 August 2022, Office of Racing Integrity Stewards conducted a hearing in relation to harness racing trainer Mr Mark Reggett presenting a horse, BUSTER BYRON, with a total carbon dioxide content (TCO2) present in a pre-race blood sample above the permitted threshold.

                                                                                                             

Mr Reggett admitted a breach of Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 190(1) and the Stewards imposed a seven (7) month disqualification.

Further, in accordance with AHRR 195(1), BUSTER BYRON was disqualified from Race 3 at the Tasmanian Trotting Club meeting on Sunday 26 June 2002.
