VIC – Pending VRT Hearing – David Moran

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued a charge against licensed trainer-driver David Moran under Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 173(1) which states:

A driver shall not bet in a race in which the driver participates

It is alleged that Mr Moran, as the driver of ‘Scotlynn Beach NZ’ in Race 7 at the Echuca harness racing meeting on 12 December 2019, placed a win bet on another horse in that race, ‘Ellmers Hoofing It NZ’.

The charge will be heard by the Victoria Racing Tribunal on a date to be fixed.
