The Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards advise that today veterinary examinations have been conducted on all runners engaged to compete in Saturday night’s Del-Re National A G Hunter Cup by a HRV Veterinarian.

The examination conducted on San Carlo revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the off foreleg. San Carlo will undergo a further veterinary examination on Saturday morning prior to 8:30am by a HRV Veterinarian. The result will be communicated as soon as possible.

The veterinary examinations conducted on all remaining runners, including emergency King Of Swing NZ, have revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Out of competition sampling was undertaken on Tuesday and today with samples collected from all horses engaged.

All starters in the Del-Re National A G Hunter Cup will be under supervision on race day by security personnel and/or the HRV Stewards.
