VIC - Pending VRT Hearing - George Schembri and Taylah Schembri

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have issued fourteen (14) charges against licensed trainer George Schembri and seven (7) charges against licensed driver Taylah Schembri under Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 241 which states:

A person shall not in connection with any part of the harness racing industry do anything which is fraudulent or corrupt

It is alleged that Mr Schembri and Ms Schembri submitted multiple completed Medical Practioners Reports that were not completed and signed by a licensed Medical Practitioner.

These charges will be heard by the Victorian Racing Tribunal (VRT) on a date to be fixed.
