VIC – VCAT Review – Lisa Bartley, Nathan Jack & Mark Pitt

Today the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) commenced hearing an application from licensed participants Lisa Bartley, Nathan Jack and Mark Pitt for review of the 16 November 2018 decision of the Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board.

The HRV RAD Board decision dismissed an appeal lodged by the applicants in respect of the HRV Stewards decision to invoke Australian Harness Racing Rules (AHRR) 183(c), 183(d) and 15(d). The full HRV RAD Board decision can be read here.

This hearing at VCAT is now part heard and will recommence on 29 November 2018.  The licenses of Lisa Bartley, Nathan Jack and Mark Pitt are suspended from midnight tonight until a decision by VCAT in respect of this matter.
