2017 HRSA Media Awards - Call for Nominations

MEDIA RELEASE

For the first time, HRSA are delighted to announce that media awards will be included at the Horse of the Year event to be held at the Grange Golf Club on Sunday 5 November. Therefore we are calling for nominations for the following categories:
 

Literary - Best published print article, story or feature. (limit of 3 articles per applicant)

Photography - Best published action or still photograph. (Limit of 3 photographs per applicant)

Television/Video/Film - Best feature ‘to air’.


The eligibility criteria includes that any submission must pertain to South Australian harness racing and must have been published or programmed during the 2016/17 racing season (1 September 2016 – 31 August 2017).

The following information must also accompany each nomination:
 

  • name of applicant;
  • title of the entry;
  • date and details of the publication of the entry; and
  • contact details including name, postal address, email and telephone number.

Nominations can be posted, emailed or hand delivered to John Lewis, HRSA CEO SA, 1 Globe Derby Drive, Globe Derby Park SA 5110 or email jlewis@saharness.org.au. Entries close at 5.00pm on Friday 6 October. Eligibility and selected winners will be at the complete discretion of the selection panel.
