Race conditions for Wayville

MEDIA RELEASE

HRSA wish to advise of the following racing conditions for the race meeting at Wayville on Friday 27 October 2017:

  • all races will be Drivers Invitational Races;
  • drivers will be randomly allocated a horse in each race;
  • all races will be ‘penalty free’;
  • prizemoney for races will be a minimum of $8,000, with 2 feature races of $12,000;
  • prizemoney will be ‘paid to last’, with unplaced horses (5th to 8th) receiving a minimum of $230;
  • maximum of 8 runners per race (plus one emergency);
  • maximum of 5 runners off the front row;
  • all races will be standing start events;
  • pacing and trotting races;
  • race distances will vary from 2140m to 2653m; and
  • only conventional sulkies will be permitted (non-American type).
