Lennytheshark - 2016 Australian Harness Horse of the Year

Following a great season, Lennytheshark (Four Starzzz Shark CA - Botswana), was today announced the 2016 Australian Harness Horse of the Year.   This is the first time win for the horse.

During the 2015/2016 season the stallion raced 13 times for 8 wins and 5 placings.  Group level successes include the Inter Dominion Grand Final, Victoria Cup and Bendigo Cup - amassing $1,343,098 in stakemoney along the way.  

Trained by David Aiken and driven by Chris Alford and owned by Kevin and Martin Riseley,  Lennytheshark’s  lifetime statistics stand at 51 starts, 27 wins and 20 placings for $1,896,790

The HRA Australian Horse of the Year Awards are voted upon by over 60 judges including media and administrators spread across the country.
