Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards advise that a post-race veterinary examination conducted on Hectorjayjay subsequent to its 1st placing in Race 6 at tonight’s Ballarat meeting has revealed the gelding to be lame in the left foreleg.

As a consequence of this finding HRV Stewards have advised Simone Walker, trainer of Hectorjayjay, that the gelding must pass a veterinary examination by a HRV Veterinary Consultant prior to being permitted to start in the Bendigo Pacing Cup tomorrow night.

This examination is scheduled to commence at approximately 10:30am, in the presence of HRV Stewards, with the result to be communicated as soon as possible.
