Harness Racing Victoria can confirm Victoria Police are investigating an incident which occurred at the Cranbourne Harness Racing Training Centre this morning.
A woman was found unconscious around 7.10am and was unable to be revived.

Harness Racing Victoria CEO John Anderson has issued the following statement:
"This matter is the subject of a police investigation and at the request of the police we are unable to release any further information at this time.
"It is a tragic accident and a terrible loss for the industry. We have arranged counselling for those who were present at the training complex this morning.
"In due course the coroner will refer his findings to the police as part of the investigations.
"Until that investigation is complete HRV is unable to comment further."
