This Web site has recently installed an exciting new level of service to harness racing fans and participants.
The Web site, operated by the Racing Information Services Enterprise (RISE) Joint Venture Partnership between HRA NSW and HRV, on behalf of the State Controlling Bodies around Australia, is pleased to announce greatly improved access to harness race fields.
“Race fields are prepared and released by Controlling Bodies in the States and are now made available in an easy to use format on the one National Website” - said HRA CEO Tony Mullins, a Director of RISE.
“It is now much easier to find particular races on the Web site and to search for particular trainers and drivers”.
“Also fans and participants can now register particular horses they wish to follow and we will advise them by email each time the horses get a run” Mr Mullins stated.
“The new fields pages builds on the already highly successful Trading Ring on the Website where users buy and sell horses and other items used in our industry. The same access password applies for both functions – making our site a one stop shop”.
“The new fields information and “Blackbook” function allows users to register a horse and then receive an email each time the horse or horses appear in race fields”.?
“During testing many users identified this exciting new initiative as a powerful use of the Internet to keep them informed regarding the horses they were following” Mr Mullins concluded.
