Star New Zealand pacers Mister D G (pictured) and Jack Cade dominate betting for Saturday night?s $250,000 SEW-Eurodrive Victoria Cup following today?s barrier draw at the Caduceus Club Luncheon.

The Tim Butt-trained Mister D G has been installed a $3 favourite with TAB Sportsbet after drawing to chase an all-the-way victory from gate one.

Unknown to many Victorians a month ago, the son of dual Hunter Cup winner and Melbourne favourite, Blossom Lady, has stormed into calculations after breathtaking wins in the Cranbourne Cup and Popular Alm Free For All over the past 10 days.

Jack Cade, a last start runner-up in the Miracle Mile, is on the second line of betting at $3.25, but many good judges expect the Mark Purdon-trained pacer to challenge for favouritism in the build-up to the Group 1 feature.?

While Jack Cade will be making his Moonee Valley debut, Purdon returns in search of back-to-back Victoria Cups after winning last season?s edition with Young Rufus.

Hometown hero Sokyola ($7) headlines the Australian contingent, but will have to overcome gate 13 to post his 51st race victory and return the Cup to Victoria.

The field for the $250,000 SEW-Eurodrive Victoria Cup (2570m), to be conducted at 9.30pm (AEST) on 20 December, is;
