Jack O'Shea disqualified for 14 months

Trainer Jack O’Shea was found guilty of a charge under Rules of Racing 190 (1),(2) & (4) in that as the trainer of BREMANSA he did present that pacer to race in race 7, the Functions Available at BHRC Pace at the Bathurst meeting on Wednesday, 17 August, 2011 when a blood sample taken from it prior to the race upon analysis revealed a Total Plasma Carbon Dioxide level above the threshold as prescribed in the Rules of Racing.

Mr O’Shea was disqualified for a period of 14 months effective immediately.

In considering penalty, stewards took into account Mr O’Shea previous record.

BREMANSA was disqualified from its 6th placing under Rule of Racing 195 from the above mentioned race.
