HRNSW today conducted an inquiry into the results of analysis which reported TCO2 levels in excess of the threshold, from blood samples taken from POINTS NORTH and ZORO NZ prior to their respective races at Menangle on Saturday 6 August 2011.
Trainer Mr. D Thomas requested that the inquiry be adjourned to enable DNA analytical tests to be conducted on the blood vials.
HRNSW exceed to Mr Thomas’ request, and will forward the vials to a laboratory approved by HRNSW and at the expense of Mr Thomas.
