WA - Stewards Inquiry : C Hall

RWWA Stewards inquired into a report received from RWWA Principal Investigator Mr P. O'Reilly concerning a package received by Harness Trainer/Driver Mr C. Hall on 14 June 2007.

Permission was granted for Barrister Ms Belinda Lonsdale to be present and represent Trainer/Driver Mr C. Hall.

Evidence was taken from Trainer/Driver Mr C. Hall, RWWA Principal Mr P. O'Reilly, RWWA Investigator Mr G. Johnson, RWWA Veterinarian Dr P. Symons and the Manager of the Serpentine Post Office.

Mr C. Hall was charged under HRR194 for, on the 14 June 2007, holding the drug darbepoietin without a prescription and which was capable of being administered to a horse.

Mr C. Hall pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Ms Lonsdale on behalf of Mr C. Hall requested and was granted an adjournment to call further witnesses.

The inquiry was adjourned until 10.30am Monday, 27 August 2007 at the RWWA Stewards Room Ascot Racecourse.
