The Australian Harness Racing Council in its Annual General Meeting held in Brisbane on 25th October 2002 announced National Awards for our Industry to Industry participants for their significant contribution.

AHRC Distinguished Service Awards

This National Award recognises the individual?s contribution to our industry. The recipient is:

?    Peter Charles Cooley of Sandy Bay, Tasmania

AHRC Meritorious Service Award

This National Award for achievement, commendable effort, and diligence in administration in an industry role. The recipients are:

?    Richard Gordon Mitchell of Gilead, New South Wales

?    Lionel Donald Clough of Penrith, New South Wales

Council congratulates all recipients of National Awards.
